Q: Why did you decide to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
“One of my core values and ethics is to give back because you honestly get what you give.
And I know that by giving to a foundation like Make-A-Wish, that my hard earned money will be put to good use by saving the lives of children who truly need some hope and happiness in their life.
Seeing kids who are worse off than me, that really never got the chance to pursue their dreams like I’m doing right now, just saddened me.
I mean, how could I, as a healthy young adult in the US, take everything I have for granted? I can walk, talk, breathe, run, gaze at the sun, and the kids over at Make-A-Wish are critically ill.
By giving hope and happiness I know that eventually I’ll receive that same hope and happiness.
And the world will be a better place.
That is why I’ve decided to donate 10% of Jackson Sawyer’s proceeds to Make-A-Wish. Because Make-A-Wish claims "Wishes can help children feel better and give them the hope and strength they need to fight – and even overcome – a critical illness."
So that maybe, just maybe, I could also help save a kid’s life with a miracle wish…”
